The Weekend!

Well, today I just completed week 3 of my practicum. I am pretty tired from all the unit planning and lesson planning this week, but I feel like I have settled into teaching and have adapted to the routines of my classroom. I truly love the kids in my class, have a super encouraging mentor teacher, and feel more sure than ever that teaching elementary is my passion. Right now the students have almost finished some fantastic impressionist pastel drawings...I am so pumped for the final product! There is some serious artistic talent with my little 9 year olds.

Now it's date night with Darcen...supper out and then maybe a murder mystery play or a movie. I can't wait! Have a good weekend!
